Manemit/Early Winter Walk on Country

Willie Pepper

Join Willie Pepper and Matt Sykes from Regeneration Projects for a walk on Country along Skeleton Creek to celebrate the traditional season of Manemit (early Winter).

Learn about the cultural significance of the local seasons of Hobsons Bay and how they can inspire our life, work and play. Together, we'll listen, learn and laugh.

Willie and Matt have worked together with communities around Nairm/Port Phillip Bay in raising awareness about the opportunities that combining Indigenous and western ecological knowledge can create.

As a duo, Willie brings his deep experience in reconciliation and down to earth communication style, while Matt draws upon his background in landscape architecture and international experiences.
