Heritage Hobsons Bay Festival

Annually discover the history of Hobsons Bay and celebrate our unique heritage and culture through a range of performances, exhibitions, tours and virtual events.

Whether it’s by exploring iconic heritage sites or taking a step back in time through storytelling and tours, the festival invites you to discover Hobsons Bay’s historical, Indigenous, cultural and natural heritage.

Expressions of interest (EOI) for the 2024 program will open 8 November 2023 and close 5 February 2024. This year's theme is 'Connections'.

Pier Street Pearls Exhibition

09 Dec 2023 Pier Street Pearls is a collection of stories that celebrate the history of the main shopping strip in Altona. The exhibition is a series of posters by local authors and historians Brownen Grey and Alan Young.
