Williamstown Library is a Council+ service site and has a range of impressive features including:

  • gallery space and bookable community meeting spaces.
  • quiet study room and a children’s area.
  • dedicated Heritage Room, a haven for family and local history researchers.
  • PCs with internet access.
  • self-serve technology, print, scan and copying facilities and Wi-Fi throughout.
  • collection of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs, including specialist collections such as maritime, local and indigenous history. 

 

Bookable Spaces

The Book Room - Friends of the Library and Community Meeting Space

  • Ground floor meeting space with separate access from the deck
  • No toilet facilities if booked outside library hours
  • Seats up to 20
  • Mobile electronic whiteboard - must be requested at the time of booking
  • Large TV with laptop cables for presentation use – must be requested at the time of booking
  • Use of the kitchenette with crockery and cutlery – must be requested at the time of booking

Charge

  • $17.50 per hour (community)
  • $27 per hour (corporate)

The Meeting Room

  • Capacity/seating: 6 people
  • Electronic Whiteboard
  • Access to small kitchenette
  • Tea, coffee, crockery and glasses – must be requested at the time of booking
