Finally The Sun, delves into the intricate dynamics of queer relationships, challenging stereotypes and societal expectations.

Olivia Mroz's self-reflexive practice manipulates figures to reflect subconscious psychological processes. Through collaboration with their partner, Olivia investigates the complexities and contradictions of queer relationships.

This body of work aims to contribute to a broader cultural conversation whilst celebrating the diverse experiences of queer individuals.

Midsumma Festival is Victoria's premier LGBTIQA+ cultural festival, made for and by communities who live with shared experiences around diverse gender and sexuality. Since 2010, Hobsons Bay City Council has facilitated local activities and events each year as part of Midsumma Festival, through Midsumma Westside. Midsumma Westside is a partnership with Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Moonee Valley and Wyndham LGAs that celebrates the LGBTIQA+ community in the context of Midsumma Festival.
