Manufactured Underwater by Briony Galligan

‘Manufactured Underwater’ is a series of drawing works that explores how children develop and learn within a queer ‘family’ and is presented as part of the 2023 Midsumma Festival.

Forward Motion

Sarah Allen – Beaks of the Bay

Laneway Gallery presented ‘Beaks of the Bay’ a showcase of illustrations by Sarah Allen, author-illustrator of a children's book Busy Beaks. The exhibition comprised four illustrations of birds local to Hobsons Bay alongside a time-lapse video revealing the creation of the picture book, Busy Beaks.

Lina Buck - Embrace(s)

Laneway Gallery presented Lina Buck's 'Embrace(s),' sequence of photographic and moving image works developed using performance, landscape and set design on display across a series of four billboards and a projection site at the front and side laneways of the Woods Street Art Space in Laverton.

Autumn Tansey - Saving for a Rainy Day
