Local astrologer Michele Finey writes in depth astrology features that have been published in numerous magazines, journals and online. Michele is the author of two books, Secrets of the Zodiac (Allen and Unwin 2009) and The Sacred Dance of Venus and Mars (Wessex Astrologer UK 2012). Michele produces an annual astrological calendar that is available at selected retail outlets and via her website www.celestialinsight.com.au. She has a free monthly newsletter for subscribers as well as a blog.

Michele's first published article appeared in print in 1985. Apart from her qualifications in astrology and hypnotherapy, Michele has a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing.

Life in, and connection to, Hobsons Bay

Michele has lived in the City of Hobsons Bay for over ten years. She works from home as an astrologer and hypnotherapist. Michele has twice appeared at the Williamstown Literary Festival most recently conducting a workshop for fiction writers on how to use archetypes and symbols to create meaningful characters.
