Hobsons Bay 360 #10: Connecting with Council

Our library and community centres have received some upgrades. As each of our sites transformed into Council+ service sites, bringing together library services and council customer services, we made changes to how community members can connect from our sites.

One of the new features for our community is the inclusion of Council+ meeting spaces. Each Council+ site has a meeting space fitted out with virtual meeting technology allowing you to connect to your meetings from the comfort of our Council+ sites. Williamstown and Altona Meadows libraries also have an innovative Council+ meeting pod available for use. These purpose-built private sound-proof pods are equipped with:

  • USB-C and HDMI connectivity
  • Video conferencing and
  • TV screen mirroring technology.
