An Afternoon in the Heritage Room

Join us in the Heritage Room at Williamstown Library and immerse yourself in the wonders of our archive collection with favourite items curated by our Heritage Librarian and discover our new Library of Things collection. 

Explore Our Equipment: 

• Learn how to digitise your photos, negatives and slides. 

• Delve into our brand new Library of Things collection featuring items available to loan for free such as audio recorders, a lightbox, portable scanner and USB microscope. 

Discover Treasures of the Past: 

• Navigate through history with our maps collection, offering a window into how Hobsons Bay has changed over the years. 

• Our Heritage Librarian has created a selection of the most cherished items from our local archives. 

Mingle with fellow enthusiasts, share insights, or view the 'Then and Now' digital exhibition curated by the Williamstown Historical Society. 

This is the perfect opportunity for community members, history buffs, tech enthusiasts, and families to come together and explore the wealth of knowledge and resources available.
