Airtime Rotation #39
1 May to 31 July 2024

Hobsons Bay: Wild Places and Faces by local young artist Eliana Gelsi details the unique habitat of Hobsons Bay.

Over many hours spent in the wild places of Hobsons Bay, including Newport Lakes, Jawbone Reserve, Sandy Point, and Paisley Challis Wetlands, Eliana has taken thousands of photos of birds in their habitat. Faithfully reproduced in watercolour and pencil, Eliana captures ‘wild places and faces’ found at our doorstep in evocative detail, inviting passers-by to observe their natural environment and explore their native neighbourhood.
