Over two Saturdays (15 and 29 April) join the Hobsons Bay conservation rangers and scientific illustrator Chris Rockley for a nature walk and journal in the wetlands.

Please note this is a two-part event. Please ensure that you can be available for both sessions before booking.

Saturday 15 April: Join the Hobsons Bay conservation rangers for a fun and educational nature walk, exploring the flora and fauna of the wetland.

The nature walk will begin on the path going through and along Laverton Creek while observing and discussing the flora and fauna in the area and ending with a walk through the Explosive Reserve.

Saturday 29 April: Join scientific illustrator and educator Chris Rockley (CHRIS ROCKLEY STUDIOS) for an introductory session on nature journalling in the wetland.

The nature journalling with Chris will involve a walk through Laverton Creek where the group will find a suitable area to sit where they will draw and write about what they see.

Meet at the gate to the Truganina Explosives Reserve.

Suitable for ages 16+.

Please dress for the weather. Wear covered walking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen and water.

Bookings close at 4pm on day before session. Please cancel your booking if you can no longer attend both sessions.
