The Hobsons Bay reusables rebate is a one-off rebate available for up to $65 on the purchase price of:
Any items not on this list are not eligible for the 2025-26 reusables rebate.
The rebate does not cover the following items:
Eligible items are:
A maximum of one rebate is available per household. Residents must have a unique bank account, phone number, email address and Hobsons Bay residential address to claim the rebate. No claims with duplicate bank accounts, phone numbers, email addresses and home addresses will be approved.
If you have purchased multiple items and have multiple receipts, please upload all of them together in the one application, as you will not be able to submit a second application.
Residents must upload proof of purchase of eligible item to receive rebate, with the following details clearly visible: date of purchase, product name, amount.
Only Hobsons Bay City Council residents are eligible.
If you intend to claim the rebate on multiple items, please lodge all receipts together in the one application. There are multiple upload invoice fields for you to do this however the maximum rebate amount you can receive is $65 per household.
Rebates will take 6-8 weeks to be paid into your nominated bank account.
