Notice of Intention to Sell Land

Hobsons Bay City Council (Council) gives notice under section 114(2)(b) of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) and Council's Community Engagement Policy, that it intends to sell its land located at 122 Woods Street, Newport Victoria 3015 being the land known as Lot 81 Plan of Subdivision 006394 Volume 08354, folio 060 and Lot 82 and 83 Plan of Subdivision 006394 Volume 08046, folio 558 (Land).

The proposal is that the Land be sold in individual lots by private treaty.

Any person has a right to make a submission on the proposed sale. 

Submissions must be received by close of business on Friday 3 February 2023 and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Hobsons Bay City Council, PO Box 21, Altona VIC 3015 or via email to property@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au. Submissions received will form part of the public record of the relevant Council and Committee meetings.

Any person who has made a written submission to Council may request in writing that he or she be heard in person in support of the written submission or by a person acting on his or her behalf before Council (or a Committee of Council established for this purpose) at a time and date to be advised.
