H.C Kim Reserve Redevelopment
In the 2022/2023 Budget allocation, Hobsons Bay City Council has allocated funding to undertake works at H.C Kim Reserve. These works include the demolition of the existing pavilion with a rebuild of a new pavilion consisting of six change rooms, first aid room, umpire facilities, social space and storage.
Works will also be undertaken to the fields during this time including the complete rebuild of pitch one and irrigation upgrades to pitches two and three.
These works will commence in early July 2023 and are anticipated to take 12 months. During this time there will be no access to H.C Kim Reserve with fencing and signage placed around the reserve.
The Altona City Soccer Club are relocating to alternate venues for the duration of the works.
Update August 2024
Works are now completed at H.C Kim Reserve. These works included the complete re-build of pitch 1 and irrigation upgrades to pitch 2 and 3 as well as the demolition and rebuild of the pavilion including six change rooms, first aid room, refer facilities, storage and social space. The Altona City Soccer Club have relocated back to H.C Kim Reserve for the remainder of the season.
