Services at the Hub

Emergency Relief by Laverton Community Integrated Services can be contacted on 8368 0177 or via this link to LCIS Emergency Services.

Immunisations are on Thursdays monthly. Online booking is required via this link Hobsons Bay Immunisations.

Subsidised education classes by Laverton Community Education Centre. They can be contacted on 9369 2726.

Active Programs

Come and join our Active Programs! All abilities and skill levels welcome. 

Active Programs aims to engage with members of the Laverton community who may be experiencing loneliness, particularly in an area with limited access to similar activities, by offering accessible, low-cost programs where language is not a barrier to participation, fostering social connection and supporting physical wellbeing.

Registration forms are available online or as hard copies on site.

Please note registration forms are used to determine interest for classes and provide contact information for class updates.

Bookings for classes are not required, walk-ins are welcome.

All classes are $5 entry or $2 for concession card holders. Fees assist with keeping the classes going.

All classes have a maximum capacity based on room size and activity. Once capacity is reached, additional participants may not be able to join the session.

No classes or sessions on public holidays.

Available classes are as follows.

Zumba

Zumba is a fun dance workout set to upbeat music. It feels like dancing at a party while getting exercise.

Mondays -11.15am to 12.15am and 7pm to 8pm

Tuesdays - 12pm to 1pm

Saturdays - 8am to 9am

Yoga

Yoga is a gentle exercise that focuses on stretching, breathing and relaxation to help your body feel flexible and your mind feel calm.

Mondays - 10am to 11am

Tuesday - 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact workout that focuses on controlled movements to build core strength, improve posture and increase flexibility.

Mondays - 6pm to 7pm

Men's Active

A fitness group where men can work out and connect comfortably.

Thursdays - 7pm to 8pm

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle, slow-moving exercise that improves balance, relaxation and mindfulness.

Fridays - 9.30am to 10.30am

Line Dancing

Line Dancing is a fun group dance where people follow easy steps in rows to lively music.

Fridays - 10.45am to 11.45am and 12pm to 1pm

Craft group

Join our Monday night craft sessions from 6pm to 8.30pm and bring your craft project while enjoying a cuppa with new company.

Available to all, free of charge. No sessions on public holidays.
