Hobsons Bay City Council's planning and building services provide assistance and advice about construction and land use in the municipality.

Planning – Our urban planning team covers the administration and enforcement of the Hobsons Bay Planning Scheme. This includes the consideration of planning permit applications for the use and development of land. The team is available for enquiries during business hours by calling 1300 179 944. Alternatively, use Council’s Greenlight Planning Portal to view planning permits and plans, lodge a new planning permit application, object to a planning permit or ask a general enquiry.  

Building – Our building services include the administration and enforcement of building legislation and related acts and regulations to ensure Council meets its statutory obligations. Our building services team is available for enquiries during business hours by calling 1300 179 944.
