Power House Junior Rugby Club

Power House Junior Rugby Club is more than a place to play rugby, it is a place where young people build confidence, friendships, resilience and a lifelong love of the game.

Since 1933, Power House has proudly helped shape generations of players, leaders and role models both on and off the field. As a grassroots Junior Rugby Club, volunteer-run club, we are built on community, family involvement and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to belong, grow and thrive through sport.

Power House provides a complete junior rugby pathway from Under 4s through to Under 18s. From our youngest players learning the basics of movement, teamwork and fun, through to our older age groups developing skills, discipline, leadership and competition experience, we support every stage of a young person’s rugby journey.

Our players learn the value of hard work, respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and commitment life skills that extend well beyond the rugby field. Whether your child is picking up a rugby ball for the first time or looking to progress through a structured junior pathway, Power House provides a positive, inclusive and supportive environment for players of all abilities.

We welcome boys and girls across our junior programs, with mixed teams available across age groups and dedicated girls’ teams at selected levels.

Proudly based in Hobsons Bay, Power House Junior Rugby Club is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council as a community-based sporting club that brings families together, encourages active lifestyles and helps create a strong sense of connection in Melbourne’s west.
