Hobsons Bay Community Fund

Projects funded must benefit and strengthen the Hobsons Bay community for present and future generations. Hobsons Bay Community Fund is a tax deductible fund established in 2006 to provide a growing source of support for projects that will benefit and strengthen the community of Hobsons Bay. Since its inception, the Hobsons Bay Community Fund has been investing donations made by local businesses and individuals into a professionally managed investment fund run by the much larger Australian Communities Foundation, which ensures the highest standards of financial management, professional advice, auditing and administration. This also means the Hobsons Bay Community Fund does not incur any overhead costs, ensuring every dollar donated goes directly to the benefit of the local community. Annual community grants are made from interest earned from the base investment fund, which has continued to grow annually.
