Our 'Rainbow Road' artwork on the Altona Theatre forecourt driveway is a positive and public way to engage and celebrate LGBTIQA+ communities in Hobsons Bay.
Since 2010, Hobsons Bay City Council has been committed to celebrate the LGBTIQA+ community through events and festivals such as the annual Midsumma Festival, alongside other local councils from Brimbank, Maribyrnong, and Wyndham.
This public art installation is by local artist and signwriter Tony Mead from Industrial Art Sign Co and his team of painters Nick, Anthony, and Finn.
