Hobsons Bay will mark 50 years of NAIDOC Week with an engaging and inclusive events program.

Held from the first Sunday of July each year, NAIDOC Week is an important opportunity to learn about First Nations cultures and histories.

This year's theme is 'The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy', which celebrates the achievements of the past and the future ahead of First Nations communities.

Dedicated events will bring NAIDOC Week to the Hobsons Bay community, including a cultural talk, presentation and art activity, flag raising ceremony, and the Volcano Dreaming exhibition at the Altona Civic Centre.
