Laverton Community Hub

The Laverton Community Hub was opened by the community on 16 March 2013:

  • $8.6 million project funded by Hobsons Bay City Council and the State Government
  • modern design, including environmentally sustainable features such as underground water tank, harvestable rainwater and solar panels
  • Allied health services

Spaces at the Laverton Hub available for hire include:

  • multipurpose spaces
  • training rooms
  • computer rooms
  • training kitchen

Arts and Crafts

Looking for a tea cosy? Need a shawl? Or a handmade present? Come and browse the handiwork of our local Golden Age Club, Care Connect PAG and our art classes. Items are available for purchase.

Justice of the Peace services

Do you need a document signed and certified? Justice of the Peace services are available at the Hub and Seabrook Communitiy Centre, by appointment.

A Justice of the Peace is able to:

  • witness oaths or affidavits
  • take statutory declarations and affirmations
  • witness signatures
  • attest the execution of a document
  • certify a true copy of an original document
