Public notice: Intention to lease Laverton Community Hub

Hobsons Bay City Council gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to enter into a new lease for 2/95-105 Railway Avenue, Laverton VIC 3028.
The Laverton Community Hub has a purpose-built modern design to support a wide range of Council services and community-focused organisations including a welcoming zone, community group and activity zone, consulting zone, education and meeting zone and medical zone. Opened since 2013, the hub houses the community-operated Laverton Community Centre, and a number of Council services including customer services enquiries, programs and rooms for hire.
Property address: 2/95-105 Railway Avenue, Laverton VIC 3028
Permitted use: Carrying out activities associated with a community education and training facility.
Feedback on the Proposal must be lodged in writing to the property team at property@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au.
The closing date for providing feedback is 5pm on 10 April 2026.
