Notice of intention to grant a lease – 10 Beach Street, Seaholme

Hobsons Bay City Council (Council) gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to enter into a new lease with Altona Yacht Club Inc, ABN 72 872 715 943 for part of Cresser Reserve at 10 Beach Street, Seaholme (the Proposal).

The Altona Yacht Club has been a community club located at the current site since 1961.

The premises is located on Council Freehold Land.

Principal terms of the proposed lease will be:

Term: 5 years

Further terms: one further term of 5 years
Commencement date: to be confirmed

Property address: 10 Beach Street, Seaholme
Commencement rent: $4,000 + GST p.a.

Permitted use: Carrying out activities associated with a yacht club

New fencing will be installed along the leased boundaries upon execution of the lease.

Feedback on the Proposal must be lodged in writing to the Property team at property@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au.

The closing date for providing feedback is 5pm on Friday 26 September 2025.
