The upgraded reserve includes several new features, including a new rotunda and outdoor seating area for the community to enjoy with family, as well as a unique new outdoor fitness station, styled as a ninja warrior course caters for the more adventurous and active users.

Council also invested significantly in new paths throughout the reserve, a new play space, sand pit, flying fox, climbing frames and barbecue areas, making Leo Hoffmann somewhere the whole community can enjoy.
With funding contributed by Sport and Recreation Victoria and Westgate Neighbourhood Fund, as well as a significant contribution from Hobsons Bay City Council, the recent upgraded reserve was officially opened with Mayor Daria Kellander, Cr Kristin Bishop and Member for Williamstown Melissa Horne MP on Friday 11 April in attendance.
