South Kingsville Community Centre roof upgrade works

Hobsons Bay City Council is undertaking roof upgrade works at South Kingsville Community Centre (SKCC).

SKCC, established in 1993, has experienced ongoing roof leaks and repairs that require a permanent solution. The outcome of the project will ensure enhanced longevity and protection of the facility.

Construction details

Works to replace the existing roof sheets and upgrade the roof drainage system will occur between December 2025 and May 2026, weather permitting. The project will be addressed in stages to ensure minimum disruption to the community centre operations.

During this time, a construction site compound will be fenced within the site. We request that you do not access these areas for safety reasons.

There may be changes to traffic flow and parking in the street to accommodate deliveries. During this time, traffic management will be in place.
