Overview

Delivered by a behaviour change specialist, this workshop is designed to help environmental community groups grow.

Are you part of a local environmental group that’s looking to attract more people?

Join us for a practical workshop that will introduce you to behaviour change principles and tools that will help you expand your group’s reach and impact.

Why attend?

  • Practical skills: Learn to apply behaviour change principles in a way that attracts more locals to join in on the positive work you’re doing for the community.
  • Collaborative learning: Share successes, challenges and insights with others in the sustainability space.
  • Strengthen your network: Connect with other community groups that share your mission of creating positive environmental change.

About the workshop

This workshop gives community members practical tools to strengthen and extend their reach using behaviour change principles.

You’ll learn to:

  • Understand your audience
  • Marketing influence techniques
  • Strategically design engagement activities

Light catering will be provided.

Places are strictly limited and bookings are essential.

Please note: The session focuses on building capability and up-skilling participants. This is not an opportunity to propose new projects for Council to deliver. Please come ready to learn something new and take home skills and knowledge to support the work of your community group.
