Australian Breastfeeding Association - Introducing solid foods
Next date: Monday, 20 July 2026 | 09:30 AM
to 11:00 AM
Starting solids is an exciting time for families but with so much information out there, it can be overwhelming. It can really help to be prepared. Join us as we talk about signs that your baby is ready for family foods, where to start and how to cope with the mess!
Connect & Share sessions involve getting together to participate in a facilitated group chat on a particular topic. The session usually has around 15 to 20 minutes of formal discussion on the topic, followed by questions and social time.
There will be a breastfeeding counsellor present if you have an individual breastfeeding question or are needing some support.
This is a very relaxed meet up – it’s fine if you come late/leave early – we know what it’s like to be operating on baby time!
Partners, expectant parents, friends and children are welcome.
About ABA's Monday sessions
The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) Western Melbourne Group meets on Mondays each fortnight for breastfeeding and parenting support and information. Each session focuses on a different topic. A breastfeeding counsellor will be present for individual questions and support. All welcome!
