With a generous prize pool, the 5x7 Art Prize attracts hundreds of entrants from five municipalities across Melbourne's west. More than 500 postcard-sized artworks are displayed across the open and Hobsons Bay school sections, showcasing miniature masterpieces from creatives of all ages - featuring traditional media, plus digital, mixed media, collage and kinetic art.
The theme 'Nostalgia' has resulted in a wonderfully diverse response.
The Louis Joel Gallery is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, and weekends 11am to 2pm. Admission is free and many artworks are available to purchase. We encourage you to bring family and friends to see this wonderful exhibition.
This popular community art competition, now in its 12th year, is generously supported by Hobsons Bay City Council and Atelier Art Supplies in Williamstown and proudly presented by Hobsons Bay Arts Society.
