Westside Studio Crew
The Westside Studio Crew are a group of young people who plan and create local events for young people. Hobsons Bay Youth Services provide the Crew with training and support to build their skills and experience in event production and management.
The Crew organise events like the Westside Open Studio Sessions, a free monthly jam session where young people can create and connect with other aspiring musicians and creatives.
Who
15-25 year olds
Get involved
To be a member of the Westside Crew, young people must:
- be 15-25 years of age
- register interest (see below)
- have a current Working with Children's Check (for members 18 years of age and above)
- be committed to attend weekly after-school meetings held at Youth Services (Newport Community Hub)
- provide parental/ guardian consent (if under 18 years of age)

Register your interest by telling us why you'd like to join the Westside Studio Crew in 2026. Once we receive your application, a youth worker will contact you to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
