Campus/ School-based engagements

Our youth workers can facilitate a range of free school-based activities to promote the health and wellbeing of upper primary and secondary students in Hobsons Bay.

Lunchtime engagements

Hobsons Bay Youth Services can come out to your school and provide support for engagement or dates of significance (i.e. R U OK Day, Reconciliation week, IDAHOBIT, Harmony day).

Activities could include:

  • badge-making
  • jewellery-making
  • glitter station
  • face painting
  • mindfulness
  • Westside Studio lunchtime gigs
  • giant outdoor games (Jenga, Connect-4)
  • tailored activities

Who: secondary students (Years 7 to 12)

Where: at your school or an agreed upon location

School engagement and events

Our youth workers can come out to your school and provide support at school community engagement events.

This could include:

  • school fair 
  • special interest groups (rainbow group)

Introduction to youth services

An informative and engaging 20-minute presentation at school assemblies, to help young people connect to opportunities outside of the school environment.
