Practical help

Our qualified staff provide support and practical tools to young people facing challenges including:

  • navigating support services
  • accessing financial support, including Centrelink
  • getting their learner’s permit
  • connecting with employment/education opportunities
  • identifying personal strengths, setting goals and working towards outcomes.

There is no cost to access this service.

Young people can attend appointments at Newport Community Hub, Level 1, 13-15 Mason Street, Newport. Arrangements can also be made to meet at a school in the municipality.
