The 2024 Woods Street Youth Art Prize was the biggest ever, displaying the work of 58 young artists. The biennial exhibition celebrates the special place Woods Street Arts Space holds in our community, as well as the creativity and spirit of the young people who live, work and/or study in Hobsons Bay.
Honourable mentions:
The 2022 Woods Street Youth Art Prize showcased 45 artworks created by young people aged 14 to 25 years of age from the western regions of Melbourne.
Displaying a wide range of mediums from paintings to video installation, the biennial art prize enables young people to showcase their creative talents and build confidence in exhibiting their work and a professional creative network.

Award winners for the 2020 Woods Street Youth Art Prize were announced in an online awards ceremony on Thursday 26 November. Presented by the Hobsons Bay Young Citizen of the Year, Augustin Kadende, the livestreamed event celebrated the achievements of all shortlisted artists in the 2020 exhibition.
