Get Creative

Get messy get creative

Let’s face it, life without art is boring! There’s no better feeling than expressing yourself by splashing some paint on a canvas, getting your hands grubby with papier-mâché or raging at a sewing needle because you can’t thread it (maybe not that last one!).

Libraries Get Creative is a welcoming space for young people aged 12 to 17 years to explore new creative mediums and technologies. This free program is designed for all levels of experience and ability.

Each week will be something new to learn from paper art, jewelry making, sculptures, painting on canvas, screen printing and textile projects. So come along and get messy with us!

Bookings are required for each event. Sessiongs run during the school term, commencing Thursday 2 February, 2023.

Thursdays, 4pm to 5.40pm
Altona Library and CTH (further details to come).
