Work experience

Are you interested in doing work experience with Hobsons Bay City Council? 

We are happy to assist with work experience placements whenever possible, but due to the high number of requests we receive it is not always possible to offer placements to all students.

Each request will be dealt with individually and confirmation will depend on availability of suitable work, an employee to supervise the student, equipment and safety issues.

  • Students must either live or study in Hobsons Bay
  • Students must be specific about the type of work experience they are interested in
  • Work experience arrangement form must be signed and submitted prior to the placement commencing
