A reflective art and writing workshop for first-generation migrants to share their stories, create mixed-media art and write to their past selves.
This workshop invites first-generation migrants to honour and share their journeys to Australia through tangible art and the written word. Participants bring a personal artefact (a photograph, textile, or family recipe) to serve as a creative touchstone. Their oral histories will be shared through facilitated group storytelling, translated visually into individual A3 mixed-media artworks using the Draw All You Can card game, and internalised through a final reflective letter-writing exercise.
