Bruce Comben Reserve southern open space

The southern end of Bruce Comben Reserve in Altona Meadows has been transformed into a new vibrant open space for the community! The redeveloped reserve was officially opened on Sunday 24 March with a community celebration.  

Features include: 

• new adventure playground with a large climbing frame, accessible in-ground trampoline and carousel, dual flying fox, shaded sandpit and swings  
• trickle stream with water pump
• nature play discovery trail 
• multipurpose court 
• walking and cycling network 
• fenced dog off-lead zone 
• BBQ area and shelter 
• public toilets 
• an upgrade and extension of the carpark and new street lighting. 

Accessible from the playground car park (henry Drive entrance), you will find an accessible change facility with a change table, hoist and a shower. This facility is available for use 24/7 with a universal MLAK key. Speak to Council on 1300 179 944 for more information.
