Altona Cricket Club

The Altona Cricket Club was formed in 1961/62, and following a successful stint in the VJCA competition for several years, the Club was admitted to the ranks of the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association. Two turf pitches, a synthetic wicket, turf and hard wicket practice facilities, change rooms and our own unique social rooms all contribute to the success of the Club and rival the best in the competition. With the picturesque Cherry Lake as a back drop, and a consistently refreshing sea breeze coming in from the Bay of a Saturday afternoon, Altona is certainly a very pleasant place to play a game of cricket!
