We all know Melbourne weather can be unpredictable!
Movies by the Bay screenings are outdoor events so please keep an eye on the forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.
We recommend bringing your own picnic rug or chairs, blankets or warm clothes, and maybe some mozzie repellent! You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks (please no alcohol).
Food and drinks will not be available to purchase at the events. However, there are lots of tasty food options in Hobsons Bay. We recommend grabbing a bite to eat or picking up some takeaway from local traders before heading to Movies by the Bay.
Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks (please no alcohol or glass).
These are outdoor events and in the case of heavy rain or dangerous weather, the event may need to be cancelled in the lead up to, or on the day of the event.
Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
All of the movies that will be screened at Movies by the Bay are rated PG.
Street parking in surrounding streets is limited, and we strongly encourage people to walk, cycle or catch public transport where possible.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash at all times. Please keep in mind that the movies will be loud and this could be unsettling for some animals.
There will be a certified First Aid provider on site at the event.
The events are held in local parks and reserves, with large, flat grassed areas and connecting paths.
Accessible toilets are available at all venues.
