Community properties
Community properties and not-for-profit organisations who are not required to pay rates may be eligible to access Council's waste and recycling service, including a free allocation of bins in some circumstances.
Non-rateable community properties can choose to:
- Opt-in to Council's waste and recycling service
- Access a free allocation of bins (eligible properties only)
- Order additional or different sized bins
- Withdraw from your existing bin service
Community centres
The standard waste and recycling service available to community centres at no cost includes up to:
- Two 240 litre Rubbish bins collected weekly
- Two 240 litre Mixed Recycling bins collected fortnightly
- One 240 litre Food and Garden waste bin collected fortnightly
- One 120 litre Glass bin collected every four weeks
Additional bins can be requested for a fee.

Kindergartens and childcare centres
The standard waste and recycling service available to not-for profit childcare centres and kindergartens at no cost includes up to:
- Two 240 litre Rubbish bins collected weekly
- Two 240 litre Mixed Recycling bins collected fortnightly
- One 240 litre Food and Garden waste bin collected fortnightly
- One 120 litre Glass bin collected every four weeks
Additional bins can be requested for a fee.

Sports clubs and recreation facilities
The standard waste and recycling service available to sports clubs, recreational reserves and associated facilities at no cost includes up to:
- Two 240 litre Mixed Recycling bins collected fortnightly
- Three 120 litre Glass bin collected every four weeks
