Open spaces audit underway

Over the next few months, we are conducting an audit of Hobsons Bay's open space and recreational assets.

This will help us plan maintenance and determine when these assets need to be replaced.

Council has appointed RapidMap to conduct the inspection, which will take place over about three months starting from Monday 6 October 2025.

You might see the inspectors at our parks or playgrounds taking photos of our assets. The inspectors will be wearing high visibility shirts, jackets or vests, and an ID badge.

The inspectors will avoid taking identifiable photos of members of the public, and no photos will be taken of commercial, residential, or private properties or structures.
