About the Author
Bernadette’s passionate about children’s writing and believes every child should be able to see themselves in the books they read. They live in Melbourne with their partner, Jennifer, their two daughters and dog, Coco.

Best known for their debut picture book Who’s Your Real Mum? which celebrates diverse family structures and was shortlisted for the 2021 The Children’s Book Council Australia Book of the Year: Early Childhood.
