New app makes bin night easy

Hobsons Bay residents are encouraged to head to their relevant app store and download Council’s new and improved bin app.
The LoopedIn Councils app is the free, one-stop shop for all waste and recycling information in Hobsons Bay.
It includes important features such as bin collection schedules, news on upcoming waste and recycling events, and a comprehensive guide to help you know what bin certain items go in.
If you opt-in, the app will also send you weekly bin-night reminders and important collection updates.
Downloading the app can be completed in a few easy steps:
The previous app will be decommissioned June 2026, allowing residents time to transition to the new app before then.
