Burgoyne Reserve Seawall Remediation Works

Construction works to repair the coastal seawall at Burgoyne Reserve at Williamstown began on Monday 8 September 2025. The project aims to enhance public safety and protect the coastal infrastructure from further deterioration caused by water erosion. 

The repair works will be for the section of seawall between Stevedore Street and Mariner Street. Works are scheduled for completion by December 2025 (weather permitting).  

For public safety, pedestrian access will be limited along the Bay Trail section adjacent to the seawall and at the Burgoyne Reserve playground during construction.
