Register of travel
Council maintains a Travel Expenses Register in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020 (Victoria) and Council’s adopted Expenses Policy.
The register documents travel undertaken by Councillors and Council staff where the travel was:
a) interstate or international, or
b) within Victoria for more than three consecutive days and related to official Council business.
The Travel Expenses Register provides transparency around the use of public funds and includes details such as the name of the traveller, destination, purpose of travel, dates, and total cost to Council (including accommodation and related expenses).
The register is updated regularly and made publicly available to support good governance and accountability.
