Truganina Explosives Reserve tours

Join the Truganina Explosives Reserve Preservation Society and Hobsons Bay conservation rangers for a tour of this unique reserve. You will learn about the plants and animals of the area as well as the industrial history of the reserve.

There will be an opportunity to watch the 2024 short documentary Behind the Fence, which covers some of the recent history of this reserve, as well as some of the natural values.

Tours run between 1pm and 4pm on the first Sunday of most months between February to December.
