KYLIE AULDIST

Known as ‘the high priestess of Melbourne soul’, Kylie Auldist is the leading lady of the multiple ARIA award nominated band The Bamboos and a celebrated solo artist. From humble beginnings, Kylie has grown to become one of Australia’s most respected, versatile and accomplished performers. Being the first and only solo Australian to have signed for highly acclaimed UK label Tru Thoughts, she released three critically acclaimed albums on the label before moving to the German K7 imprint Soul Bank Records to release the 80’s electro soul flavoured LP’s ’Family Tree’ & 'This is What Happiness Looks Like'. She has twice won a coveted Music Victoria Award as well as providing vocals for the global smash hit ‘This Girl’ (Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners), which reached the top 100 in over 50 countries and has been streamed over one billion times on Spotify alone.

VELVET BLOOM

Velvet Bloom’s music speaks to the human spirit with an oozing honey pot of silky vocals, lush soundscapes and raw emotion, fusing delicate songwriting with a luscious and vibrant soul sound. Making up this soul collective is Alex Markowitsch, guitarist, bassist and producer of Velvet Bloom bringing guitar licks and riffs as glossy as his long wavy hair. Miguel Hutton (Stevie Jean, Jothi, King River Rising) providing his steady groove to the Velvet Bloom keys, synth, synth bass and percussion. On the drums is Nic Morton who keeps a tight rhythm allowing lavish chords to wash over. Last but not least, is guitarist, lead vocalist and primary songwriter of all that is Velvet Bloom, Maddy Herbert. A literal ray of sunshine inside a human being that beams from centre stage and warms the entire room no matter where you are standing.

RUBY MAE

Melbourne artist and Wiradjuri woman, Ruby Mae, blends nostalgia with a fresh perspective. Ruby's music feels primed for a coming-of-age soundtrack – a mix of crushing lyricism and loftier, guitar-driven music.
