Cultural & Linguistic Diversity in Hobsons Bay
Hobsons Bay is proud to be home to people from more than 144 countries of origin, speaking over 100 languages and celebrating over 90 faiths.
According to the Census 2016:
- 30 per cent of our community in Hobsons Bay were born overseas
- 23 per cent of our community in Hobsons Bay come from non-English speaking countries
- 29 per cent of our community in Hobsons Bay speak a language other than English at home
