Seeing yourself represented in storytelling makes a huge difference to LGBTQIA+ readers of all ages. By spotlighting stories about the lived experiences of diverse voices on the margins, we bring queer history to life, whilst creating opportunities to embrace and celebrate diversity.
 
You can now access the 2026 Midsumma Queer Reading List online here. You will be able to explore the reading list in person at Hobsons Bay Libraries from 8 January to 8 February 2026.
