- 1 x Pivo Pod Mount

This kit does NOT come with batteries (users need to supply their own). Remote requires 2 x coin type batteries (3V lithium cell - CR1632).

- One of the Pivo Apps (Pivo+, Pivo Play, Pivo Cast).

Before you start
Make sure your Pivo Pod is charged (using the USB-C cable provided).
Download one of the Pivo Apps (you will need to create an account to use):
- Pivo+: allows you to take photos, record videos, and conduct 1-on-1 video calls all from within the app. (This is a good app to get started with for basic tracking use)
- Pivo Play: Allows you to create interesting videos by using pre-made effects and transitions.
- Pivo Cast: (previously known as Pivo Meet) is a 1-on-1 video chat application made by Pivo and designed to be used with your Pivo Pod.
These are all available via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Pivo Pod battery should take 60 minutes to full charge.
- The LED light on the power button will turn red to indicate that the Pivo Pod is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED light on the power button will turn off.
- A fully charged Pivo Pod can provide up to 10 hours of usage but may vary depending on the features and settings being used.
- With the app open, you can check how much battery remains at the top right corner of the screen.
Getting started and using Pivo
Getting started
- The Pod ON (or OFF).
- The button at the front will flash blue, meaning that it is in "pairing mode" looking for a bluetooth device.
- Log in and open one of the Pivo Pod Apps and make sure bluetooth is turned on.
- When the app opens it should automatically search for nearby devices and connect.
Connecting the Pivo Pod Remote
- With your Pivo Pod turned on, enter Remote Control pairing mode by pressing the Pivo Pod's power button 3 times in quick succession.
- The power button will blink white, indicating your Pivo Pod is now discoverable by the Remote Control. If the LED light isn't blinking white, simply repeat this step.
- On the Remote Control, press and hold the center button marked + until the device beeps 3 times indicating a successful connection.
You will need to create an account to use this app. Pivo+ also requires bluetooth, microphone, camera and photo gallery access. Location data is optional.
How to use the interface (main recording screen)
- Recording Mode: at the bottom of the screen you can swipe between different recording modes. including: Photo, Video, Meet (for video conferencing) & Webcam.
- Recording: The pink button on the bottom middle of the page will allow you to take a photo or start recording (depending on what mode you are in).
- AutoTracking: Down the bottom left you will see the autotracking options. You can select either Face, Body or None (which will turn autotracking off). Face is a good default if you wish to use this option.
- Settings: allows you to tweak the auto tracking speed and preferences.
- Home: at the top right you will see a House icon that will take you to the gallery page where you can review your recordings. You can also use the + button here to connect to the pivo pod if you have not already or take a photo or video. You can also click the profile icon to adjust your account settings. To return to the main screen click the + button (if you don't have a pivo connected select 'skip').
- Tracking Position: this allows the tracking to keep you centered, left or right of the screen.
- Switch Cameras: this will allow you to switch between the front and back of the camera.
- Options: this allows you to add grid lines, flash a timer or take photos on a burst if desired.
- Presets: you can save your own specific camera presets into one of the slots for easy access.
- Rotate: this allows you to set up the pivo pod to rotate without tracking you.
You will need to create an account to use this app. Pivo+ also requires bluetooth, microphone, camera and photo gallery access. Location data and Speech Recognition is optional. This app will not allow you access unless you are connected to the Pivo Pod (unlike Pivo+).

- Magic Edge: Stitch two videos together side by side to give the illusion of one video.
- Clone Trail: take a video and let Pivo do the cloning magic so you can blow everyone's mind with this instant clone trail made right on your phone.
- Capture Tracking (Face, Body, Horse & Action): set up the autotracking feature to narrow into what you want to capture.
- MultiStream Live: Stream live on multiple platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, and other 29 platforms.
- Studio 360: N/A without turntable accessory.
