Early Years Programs

These programs are designed to support the literacy development for infants, toddlers and young children up to five years old. 

Bookings are not required, drop into any of our sessions. Parent or caregiver is required to stay on site for the duration of the program.

Early year sessions run during the school term.

Term 1 sessions will run from Monday 5 February until Thursday 28 March.

Baby Time (ages 0 to 12 months)

Join us for a gentle and engaging session of songs, rhymes, stories, and literacy tips to nurture baby’s early language development and love of books and reading.

These sessions will incorporate resources, programs and events available to help and enhance the joys and benefits of reading with your bub. 

Free book bags will also be available at these sessions for new parents.

These 30-minute sessions take place Monday to Friday during school terms.

Suitable for babies aged 0-12 months. BYO blanket for bub.

Story Time (ages 1 to 5 years)

Join us for stories, songs and rhymes that will take you on adventures, exploring the seasons, animals, world around us and much more. 

These 30-minute sessions take place across all branches, Monday to Friday during school terms.

Story Time is suitable for children aged 1 to 5 years.

Discovery Time

Discovery Time is a program designed for preschoolers and their parents/carers to explore STEAM topics through reading and play.

This self-guided program allows children to discover and learn at their own pace, tapping into their curiosity and sense of wonder.

Drop-in between 12pm and 12.30pm and explore books, games and activities alongside your little one, with a different theme each week.  What will you discover together?

*This program is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years and may contain materials not suitable for children under the age of 3.

Bookings not required. Caregivers are required to stay onsite for the duration of the program.
