Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club redevelopment
Council, the Victorian Government, Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club and Life Saving Victoria are working together to deliver the redevelopment of the Williamstown Swimming and Live Saving Club facilities. Victorian Government funding of $11.3 million was secured in 2021, with Council committing a further $3 million towards this community project.
The project will revitalise the foreshore precinct, align with the heritage values of the area, and deliver the essential lifesaving components required for the club to thrive in this location for many years to come.
Project Update
Following two rounds of community consultation, the concept design was endorsed by Council earlier this year.
